Q - How do I find a property?
A - The property search is in the “Residential” section of remax.com.
To search for a home in any RE/MAX Region in the United fill out the quick
form in the Buy/Sell a Home section. This search will take you to a results
page on our partner web site, realtor.com. There are additional instructions
on realtor.com.
If you are in a country other than the United States, choose your country
from the pull-down menu on the remax.com home page or on the “Residential” page.
Clicking on your country will open a new window to the RE/MAX web site of
the selected country. The search instructions vary by country. Follow that
site's instructions to select the property that matches your desired specifications.
Q – My property search brings up lots of properties, but none
of them match my criteria.
A – The property search tries to match your criteria exactly. Sometimes
not everything you are looking for is available in one home. So, the software
tries to make the closest matches it can. It then presents the homes in
order of applicability to your search criteria. If a home matches perfectly,
it will be noted as a 100% match. If it only matches on ¾ of criteria,
it is noted as a 75% match. Matches and percentages are noted on down the
line. If none of the items returned are satisfactory, you may wish to contact
a RE/MAX agent as they have access to a wider range of homes and have market
information that can be more helpful than what is often found on the web.
